HOW WE DO IT: SpineFIT |

BEFORE ![]() This is a patient before going through our SpineFit program. This x-ray depicts him from the left side. He is facing the left side of your screen, (you can see the arms of his glasses in this film. (NOTE: he was NOT looking down in this film, he was stuck in this position, this was his actual posture.) He was experiencing severe neck pain and "lightning bolt" pain shooting down his right arm. He was forced to sleep in a chair because he could not lie flat. He could not look up, in fact he could not look straight out in front of him without arching his back. ![]() ![]() This is the same patient 9 weeks later after going through our SpineFit program. He was actually feeling much better and sleeping in his bed by the 2nd week, however, his posture and spinal biomechanics were not "fixed" (or near to normal as possible). Wisely, he chose to finish the program and the results speak for themselves. This was only made possible by doing extension/compression traction, in special traction devices. Not your typical over the door distraction traction. ![]() Here are some of the traction units used to facilitate the normal curves in the neck like you saw in the previous pictures.-- ![]() ![]() ![]() Exercise is important to any spinal rehabilitation program. However simply doing a weight lifting program is not enough. It is important to target specific muscle groups on either side of the spine and strengthen only the ones necessary to correct the spinal biomechanics. If a global or "generic" workout is prescribed it will not be enough to correct the spinal alignment.
